  1. No.

Not everyone wants one, and some people would rather be generalist.

  2. I would like the US to be more organized as far as industry goes,  and people should put more effort in what they do, but i think that would put to much strain on schools and field teaching.

Career based jobs should have an apprenticeship type system, where the longer you work and more experienced you are determines the wage you get paid.

  3. Our board of education already created too many war strategy experts when they  first made "war strategy 101" a requirement to just graduate middle school!

  4. Bad *** question.

Yes. People should take more pride in their work regardless of what they do.  I own a business and I find all the time that I am doing someone elses work (example, Finding packages that shipping companies have lost.  Or having to explain to the city and county of Denver that I paid quarterly taxes 3 times for first quarter).  I'm sure everyone experiences like this all the time.

I believe with more training and more time spend on a job, the more pride one will have and the better the job someone will do, and the better off everyone will be.  However, you'll have to draw a line someplace because some jobs are frivolous and only temporary and would only waste resources ("the world needs ditch diggers to").
