Should we dump sewage sludge and other harmful pollutants into the ocean?

It is a serious human error to change the chemistry of the oceans.  The pH of the oceans is changing due to higher concentrations of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.  Large areas of the oceans are enriched with fixed nitrogen due to runoff from agricultural operations.  

Since the ocean is so important to all life, not just human life, we should do our best to not change its chemical properties lest we suffer the consequences.

If this happens, pollutants can kill the living things in the sea in many ways (suffocation and ingesting of chemicals to mention a few). If that's not enough, thermal pollution will take even more life.

I believe that we shouldnt dump it into the ocean. we dont realize how harmful it is to marine life. also to us for example how when we eat fish. the fish might be contaminated. people need to start getting their act together and try to help prevent pollution. im scared to have to have my future children live in a world like this. im not a big tree hugger but i do care about our environment.

Nooooo dont do that. Think of all the little fishies, they're going to die. And plus I enjoy my time at the beach. If all the little fishies die, then its going to disrupt the aquatic ecosystem.

You should never do that. It is our duty to keep all oceans and rivers always clean. It is the God given duty on human being. Otherwise there is no good life possible for other creatures on earth.
