  1. Based upon local, county or perishes laws we already elect our judges. On the other hand; our Regional Federal Judges and Supreme Court Judges are nominated and then later voted upon.  


  2. You are on the winning side. States where judges are elected have the most corrupt judiciary. Texas is a great example of a state with elected judges that has a great deal of corruption. Also, elected judges are tempted to come down hard on criminals if there is a lot of negative publicity on the case, rather than being objective.
