Should we feel bad for England?

You'd think the country that invented football would be good at it, and they really do have an excellent make up of a team. I just don't understand why they haven't been successful. I really do feel sort of bad for them.

thats because they dont play as a team,all the players rely on themselves,play for themselves

what the english team needs is cooperation among the players

I don't feel bad for England. Every major tournament, media always writes good about England players. Reality, they are all suck.

if they shut up and play poor football i think i will feel a little bit of sympathy.

but the problem is that they think they are always the best - and the newspapers constantly speculate about them and talk about them. there's simply no need to keep on talking about the most over-hyped team in recent history.

They ruin their own football, why should others feel bad for them?

I understand why they havent been successful but I do not care to repeat it again and again in another Q.

I will tell you this tho: An Italian invented the telephone (Marconi), yet all phone brands are NOT Italian. Chinese invented pasta, yet Italians beat them at it.

It's easy to come out with the rules of a game, not so simple to get good at it ;)

It's all the foreigners in the Premier League that are ruining the team. Look at Serie A. AC Milan, Juventus, and AS Roma always have Italian players playing at top level. Also the mentality of the English players. English players are also very overrated. Blame the media for that one.
