Should we follow in the AFL's footsteps with awards?

The AFL has Mark, Goal and Play of the year awards and medals

I'm thinking for next season we could have an 'expert' panel of judges to nominate:

Sledge of the year.

Daft comment of the year

Most one-eyed comment of the year

So what should we call the medals and what should they look like?

Should I wear a little number like Juddy's girlfriend's dress to the presentation :-). It would be, well, ... revealing

An award for the most daft comment of the year, made on air by a media game commentator, could be named the 'Bruce McAvaney' award.

That dork makes the most stupid comments on the most regular basis.

Eddie Everywhere would be odds on to win the most one-eyed comment of the year.

No WCE players would be in the running for sledging - our players don't do that.

Actually, how about the award for the "Squeaky clean player" of the year!

It could be named the "BEN COUSINS MEDAL"

or the "WCE TROPHY"

They could hand out T Shirts saying:

Come to the west, we've got the best!!

The "Marco" award for the ridiculously stupid and delusional.

The "British Bovine" award for those who constantly have foot and mouth disease.

The "Yoda" award for those who's wisdom is light years ahead.
