Should we genetically alter our skin to incorporate chlorophyll and photosynthesis?

This would be the ultimate in "green living" since it would:

1) lower our collective carbon footprint to the absolute minimum. like plants, we would become consumers of C02 instead of producers, thereby reversing the whole process of global warming.

2) create a better smelling world with less waste. plants don't c**p or f**t, and neither would we.

3) We would become literally "green", so that "green living" would no longer be merely a metaphor, but a factual reality.

If this were possible would you do it? Should Barak Obama make research on this topic a part of his energy policy?

  1. that would be awesome!! seriously, if they ever figure out how to do this, i'm on board!

  2. Photosynthesis if you find green people attractive. :D

Here is a question, why don't we let evolution make us better instead?

Instead we can have some photosynthetic organs on our skin that obsorb the CO2 in our bodies and the sunlight to supply us with oxygen :D. It will be like a recycling kit in our bodies.

  3. its is truely possible but the world is not ready for it at the time.

THEY do alot of weird experiments on people

it gose so far sometimes they actually create real monsters,

    mutants, zombies.

I wont do it and dont take the RFID.

the only good side in being half plant half human is if you lose an limb it just grows back.

but u may already have a smejit

of plant in ya just look at the brain and look at a plant seed see the similarities.

  4. No it would be too much hassle lol :S

  5. no.  not ready.

    seems i like thinking.

and photosynthesis will not provide nearly enough energy to do that.

besides, what would happen to modesty?

and are you really sure you want to see that much of quite a lot of folks?

  6. that would be sooo coool!!!!

  7. yes. You go first.
