my three year old little sister wants a gray kitten for her birthday. we would have to take care of it, though. we have a tuxedo and a tabby already, but she wants a cat for herself. my dad does not want another cat, but my mom thinks it would be cool to have a kitten, since our 2 cats are full-grown, fat and lazy

o by the way, my dog says hello. he pawed at the computer screen! how cute is that!?

  1. If your sister will be truly responsible for it and you have the room, why not!

  2. if you do get a cat please adopt one

  3. A 3 year old may not really understand that a kitten is not a "toy".  Young kittens can be quite defenseless and without intention your little sister could hurt the kitten.  It's really not the same as an adult cat who knows when it's time to move away from the situation.

Best to wait until your sister is older......good luck!

  4. yes

  5. Talk to your vet or an adoption center about which gender would be the best match for your current cats.  If it is the wrong combo the kitten or adult cats might pee on the furniture!

  6. you should take the litten home for a night and see ow everything goes first if everything is ok maybe, then you or your parents couldshow your sister how to feed it or something, good luck!

  7. A kitten for a three year old would mean careful supervision for both!

A kitten might also shake up the older cats and start them playing. I think the more cats the better! Just make sure you get an outgoing kitten and introduce it slowly to the cats and dog!

Your dog is adorable, hi doggy!

  8. Yes just as long as you know you can take care of it

  9. lol so cute!
