  1. Judging by all the pregs at high school,I think they know plenty about s*x by now

  2. Yes, you should continue teaching se*** education to students above 8th grade because if they dont listen you are still informing them.

  3. 8th grade is about 14 years old.  The average kid has already had s*x at that time.  They need to start a lot earlier, and judging by the teen pregnancy and STD rates, they need to stop just telling kids not to have s*x (abstinence) because it's clearly not working, and start telling kids how to protect themselves against disease and pregnancy.  Did you know that kids in Florida think drinking bleach will stop you from getting AIDS?  That's what you get from teaching abstinence instead of real s*x ed.

  4. The answer is yes. The question really is WHAT KIND of s*x ed? that's where the real problem begins. the main thrust is to teach ABSTINENCE, which is fine, but to not teach the rest is irresponsible. You have to teach them about responsible s*x. All you have to do is watch MAURY POVICH and you'll see the whole gamut. I also believe a little "Scared straight" approach isn't all that out of bounds. Again, Watch Maury when he has wild teens and see how he and his people handle it. i guarantee you'll send a HUGE wake up call.
