Should we go ahead and fight Russia?

If this war escalates and the russians refuse to agree to a cease fire should the U.S.A. butt in? would this be the start of WW III?

russia would fall like the paper tiger it is, mass confusion and infighting, starvation and no command and control....sometimes i wonder if we screwed a potentially great ally by bringing them down like we did, but hey, that was then, and we're looking at the future

you would have to be really ignorant and lacking in history to want to fight Russia in a war.  Unless you want to commit global suicide with nuclear exchanges with Russia, there's no way in defeating it or destroying it in an air or land war.  

The Russian Bear goes where it wants to in it's regional neighborhood. Deal with it.  And go read a friggin history book you fatuous questioner.
