Should we go to work?

me and my boyfriend live in welland and work in st catharines. weather is bad everywhere. we drive but the school boards don't have any busses running so obviously the weather is bad enough. should we go to work or not? if not what should we call and say? the reason we wouldn't be going would be because of the weather but I want to say more than just "Hi, we're not coming in today because of the snow." lol. Please answer quickly!! Thank you all in advance!

(I lied in that I have used the weather as an excuse, "I slipped while pushing on some ice and twisted my back")

No.  While you want to generally make it to work every day, don't risk your life over it!  There are more important things.

there is nothing wrong with calling and saying what you don't want to say.  Call and say the snow is bad.
