Andrew "jacka*s" Jackson earned his living as a slave trader from 1804 to 1813.

"Nevertheless, from 1804 until 1813 he successfully combined

with planting and the stock-raising business enterprises of a larger

sort, especially slave and horse dealing."

We are not talking about a plantation owner who owned slaves like Washington or Jefferson here, we are talking about a guy who made his living as a Slave Trader.

Eventually Jackson did own a plantation with 140 slaves, but, from 1804 to 1813 he made his living as a slave trader.
