  1. definitely! although a 2 game aggregate score (one RL one RU) would probably be more interesting. It would be interesting to see the difference in the games since the professionalism of RU; with more players from RL switching to RU and then back again. I remember the 1995 Wigan-Bath matches.... Brilliant.

  2. Only remember the green cross code.

  3. What, and embarrass the ra-ra boys again!!!

  4. I dont know if there should be a cross code challenge but it will be tottally different to last one between Wigan & Bath.

Rugby Union now uses the drift defence that they use in League so the games would be a lot closer that the last games.

  5. Hardly any point. Both games have it's followers. I just happen to love rugby union and hate to see any tampering with it. This is like half cooked and half raw. Highly un-digestable :-)

  6. there's no time in the seaon for it any more. When union are playing their pre-season warm up games, league are already a long way into their season.

  7. What is the use? It is two very different games. What do you want to prove with such a game? That one code is better than another? Both games have their followers and is loved for the game it is. Playing it as one game with two halves will also not be fair to the players. It could actually be dangerous. Play it as two games with time to prepare for the vastly different demands on the players will be a better idea if there are teams that actually want to do this.
