Should we hold eight year old back?

ive had social promblems since i was in elemtery school and was only able to shake them off in grade 11 when i finaly gained friendship with my new classmates after moving. curently im in 11th right now (almost done the first semeste) (might be weird getting this advice from a 16 year old) but as I recalled I felt dead with my social negativity's and similar to youre son condition i was stressed. I believe that holding him back might help him reintegrate with classmates and show somes sign of improvement this coul dalso help him be hapier if he makes friends.
