Should we impose a maximum wage to go with our minimum wage ?

McCain makes 5 million per year - Isn't that a little excessive ?

Obama - what does he make ? Likely not 12 dollars an hour

Since we have a minimum wage how would a maximum wage of 250,000 per year stop incentive ?

How many people make that ? Do you ? How many people can't live really well on that ?

In what way would a minimum wage of 15,000 a year and a maximum of 250,000 stop people from working hard and striving ?

It would stop massive monopolies encourage private ownership Ensure fairness within the society garnantee everyone a fair chance to live well and to prosper

Oh yes some of the ultra rich would see an end to their Empires and little fiefdoms but would that be bad for the rest of the 90 % of the nation ?

  1. That is the single and absolutely most retarded thing I have ever heard. Listen up you moron, do you think that other countries have maximum wades, h**l freaking no. What happens if we impose a maximum wage, all our most brilliant minds LEAVE they go to foreign countries that will actually pay them, all our good CEOS leave, all investors that once had capital now have none, assuming you know what capital is. With no investors and no capital, what happens to our companies, what happens to our economy, everything would collapse.

Even your fellow dumbass liberals would disapprove, h**l Barack HUSSEIN Obama would laugh you off. Go kill yourself and make the world a better place.

  2. No and as their "empires" evaporate then don't be surprised if you notice that we have fewer services and less jobs because their empires are composed of businesses that provide services and employ lots of people.

  3. Income only or are you including royalties, commissions, etc. What you are proposing is too difficult to do. It's not practical.

  4. Are you older than 8?

  5. We are all the more reconciled to the tax on importations, because it falls exclusively on the rich, and with the equal partition of intestate's estates, constitutes the best agrarian law.. Our revenues once liberated by the discharge of the public debt, and its surplus applied to canals, roads, schools, etc., and the farmer will see his government supported, his children educated, and the face of his country made a paradise by the contributions of the rich alone, without his being called on to spare a cent from his earnings."

    

    PROGRESSIVE TAXES

"The property of this country is absolutely concentred in a very few hands, having revenues of from half a million of guineas a year downwards... I am conscious that an equal division of property is impracticable. But the consequences of this enormous inequality producing so much misery to the bulk of mankind, legislators cannot invent too many devices for subdividing property, only taking care to let their subdivisions go hand in hand with the natural affections of the human mind. Another means of silently lessening the inequality of property is to exempt all from taxation below a certain point, and to tax the higher portions of property in geometrical progression as they rise. Whenever there is in any country, uncultivated lands and unemployed poor, it is clear that the laws of property have been so far extended as to violate natural right. The earth is given as a common stock for man to labor and live on."

  6. Profitable Companies should reinvest in the Company to expand

    and modernize to become competitive.

Companies who are showing little Profit gain should reduce upper Management Salaries. Particularly if they restrict payraises for

    lower grade employees.

But who has found life to be fair ?

  7. another reason to get the gov out of our lives.I'm sure the founders of the constitution had this idea in their heads when they wrote it.

  8. At first glance it seem to be good. But the Constitution doesn't give the government the power to do that, and this idea comes from Marxism / Communism. If Communism is so good then why are so many people dying trying to escape it.

  9. Dude...wow.

  10. You must be a communist. If you don't know what communism is, here is a link to help you.

  11. As long as they pay all their taxes in full and on time I don't have a problem with folks making a zillion a year.

  12. Then we could build a wall around the country, put the military in charge, dress drably and sensor the media. I love it, lets all be average. Sounds easier to me.

  13. well obama made 4 mill last year.

  14. Communism.....

  15. What you are proposing, is in fact a form of communism. I think if people can get others to pay them, and everything is legal, go for it. If I work my a** off I expect to get more money.

  16. Good luck with that. They'll find loopholes, trust me.

  17. That's a great idea. I'm an emergency physician, and some of my colleagues (unfortunately, not me!) make over $250k. When they get to that point, say November or so, we could just stop treating emergencies until the new year rolls around. No more missing Christmas with the family!
