  1. Yes, and people should start getting used to bringing their own reusable containers, utensils, etc. We can get in the habit if we are forced to.

  2. The price should be set by their demand in the marketplace.

    Leave it alone!!

  3. Before we increase the prices we should first think very hard about what kind of an effect it will have on our grandparents or great grandparents living on fixed incomes....if they are trying to survive only on Social Security benefits remember that they only got about $30 per month increase in cost of living allowances (probably bringing their paycheck up to $1200 or maybe $1500 a month....congress on the other hand gave themselves about $300 per month bonus making around $13,000 or so a month)

grandma and Grandpa can barely afford to go to doctors in spite of Medicare because of the co-pays and they cannot afford the cost of the medicines they need.

It would be a better thing that we would simply learn to recycle those items because we are conscientious people and have at least a small vestige of responsibility

You thought would hurt the already poor and middle class and the well to do would simply not care anyway because they can afford to remain environmental slobs.

  4. only if we have recyclable substitutes with reasonable prices.

  5. yes definitely. such a waste to dispose all that plastic away
