we'll call it "old mexico" to go along with new mexico... they all want to come to America anyway and it will solve the immigration problem.

  1. I think we should invade mexico. It would solve the immigration problem and more people would be happy. While we are at it lets invade China. It will be less crowded there if the people of china could go to the US.

  2. You're a little late, WalMart and our auto industry already did! LOL

  3. First, to Christopher K, the reconquista was a terrible terrible agenda.  Do you have any idea how many people were senselessly killed by the Spanish government?  Or don't you care?  You're as bad as Ferdinand and Isabella.

Second, no, we shouldn't invade and take over Mexico.  That doesn't make any sense.  The "problem" of immigration wouldn't stop because like someone else said, there would just be immigrants from Central and South America.  But more important than the "problem" of immigration is that our country is already enough of an imperialist bully without conquering Mexico.  I'm an American too, so excuse me for saying this, but stupid American's always want to try to take over everything like we're entitled to it.

You're suggesting that on an idle whim, we just go down there and take them over?  Even if it wasn't a horrible, morally wrong idea, the cost of going down there are doing that makes it impossible, not to mention the lives that would be lost on both sides.  No, the money in this country should be going towards causes that make the world a better place to live in for EVERYBODY.  That is, NOT JUST US.  There are other human beings on this planet.  But even in America, there are so many causes that deserve the money that's being spent in Iraq at this very moment as I type this.  Katrina relief, years later, is still an issue, believe it or not.  FEMA has done jack **** restoring the quality of life to the thousands who lost their homes and well beings.  That is, the people that didn't die from the initial hurricane, and then those made who were killed by the sea of human filth that happened to be where they were trying to live.  Or the uncounted homeless that exist in our midst, even though they're probably invisible to you.  Or victims of wildfires.  Or those whose lives were ruined when the industry in their town was shut down or moved away.  Or those whose jobs were outsourced.  And that's just the tip of the iceberg.

  4. The cost of taking the country out of its craphole status would negate any advantage of ensuring there would be no more illegal Mexican immigrants.

Plus there would just be more coming from Central and South America.

  5. Why don't we? They're trying the same  thing(ever heard of Reconquista?  I say we do whatever we have to.
