  1. If they are endangered that probably means they are not very well suited or adapted to their environment.  By "protecting" them, we are interfering with the natural order of things.  Some would say that they must be endangered because of us so it is our duty to protect them.  This is emotional nonsense and doesn't recognize that there always have been and always will be species that don't make the cut.  These animals are not ours to protect.  I am all for making parks but the word preserve is a misnomer since the natural state of things is eternal change.

  2. Keep them populated just enough to harvest their body parts for ashtrays, clothing, and accessories.

  3. Humans are the reason most of these creature are nearing extinction in the first place.

Who gave us the Right to decide that a species of creature should be wiped from the face of the earth FOREVER, and which should live.

It is our duty a guardians of this planet to redress some of the harm that we have inflicted on an Innocent world

  4. lol why would you get rid of endangered species?? and what are you against?

  5. Well, besides whatever is on some body's list (those lists are pretty arbitrary), across the board species are becoming extinct at a rate of around 3 per hour, 1000 times the rate of the past 500 years, and greater than any mass extinction ever.  Probably less than one in 10 species is known to us anyway.  We are learning that many we thought were a single species are in fact, many.  Given all that, it's unlikely that any one species is significantly more endangered than the rest, although we obviously pour huge amounts of resources into preserving certain ones (cat, dog, cow, pig, chicken, etc).

So if one imagines a Master List somewhere that includes the names of all the species that are truly at risk, there can be no doubt the name of Homo Sapiens appears on that list.  Where we rank between the top and the bottom is the thing  we don't know.  The cheerleaders for Natural Selection might want to think of this, the next time they go "Rah-rah-rah!"

  6. We need to keep them around. They still have a chance to survive it's just that most of us don't give them a chance. Like those poachers in all of their illegally obtained animal goods.

And which part are you against the "keeping them" or "getting rid of them?"

  7. you're against what?  having a debate about it?

  8. the first thing you should do is find out and learn what Eco systems in environments is all about and the interrelations

all life on this planet is connected

birds and insect ,.pollinate plants ,other animals plant seeds

    corn growths because of bees

frogs eat mosquito's ,others eat frogs ,others eat those

many food chains many plants are interrelated

the more species become endangered the More we our selves become endanger ,because we are at the end of it all

the top of the food chains

so to save what we can is to save out selves in the end ,

Einstein said when the bees are gone humanity has 4 years left

a little dramatic ,but not far from the truth

our eating habits will have to change and we already see dramatic changes in quality of food the good stuff becoming more expensive by the year

of course we must safe what we can

    on principle

and to be able to show our kids for as long as possible what kind of life this planet has

instead of trying to imagine it from pictures or bones

    now ask a good question

  9. Right first of all, your question isnt clear it sounds like you want to get rid of endangered species instead of keep. Anyway, i got the point - you wanna keep em around.

I think thats true but what Toni & Nick C said sounds true too - dont mess with nature and all, but most of these animals wouldn't be endangered if humans hadn't gone and messed up their homes and food and stuff like that. (ie.panda's are endangered beacuse their is not enough forest and bamboo left for them) and its not just pandas so I agree with you - humans should do what they can to protect endangered animals. You cant just let a species die out because we humans need destroy their homes and food in order to live, because... WE DONT!!!

  10. Natural Selection, Survival of the Fittest, By trying to keep every animal alive at all cost we are just interfering with the chain of life. Unfortunately in order for things to live some things must die.  Also I have a hard time digesting the fact the Government can spend millions of dollars trying to save an owl or a sea turtle, when  kids can't get a proper education, and there our millions of people in this country that need legitimate help that can't get it.

  11. if it wasn't for people's attempts to save animals the bald eagle would be nearly if not extinct, if not to save the california condor they would be gone, if we didn't have fishing controls such as protecting sharks the oceans would become very sick, if we didn't have programs to save certain species of rhinos they would be gone, remember some of  these animals eat dead things keep things clean. even each shark species has its niche.   when one area was in the habit of killing the white tip reef sharks because they thought they ate their target fish it turned out they were hurting their fishing because the sharks ate the fish that ate the target fish, when they stopped killing the sharks the target fish increased in numbers.

all species are here and have a purpose when we destroy to many of them it upsets something somewhere and I am not sure it is good. sharks keep the oceans in balance, such as eating very fast producing fish, these fish may eat corals and desimate them or other important food fishes. if we upset the balance to much we can lose something very valuable. example they do not know for sure why the crown thron starfish is getting out of control (maybe due to fertilizers) and they are destroying the coral reefs as they eat corals, under normal conditons crown throns are kept in check by their inability to process limited food supplies and only the strong survive keeping them in check.

if we lose these animals we also lose the beauty and wonder of those animals, not everything has to be valued because it provides food or clothing or whatever. all life has value simply because it was given life by the creator and it reflects him. every artists put their life into their paintings, the painting can tell you about the artist, same with life. it can tell you something about our creator.

    RRRR

  12. no we shouldn't get rid of none of are endangered species because its not right and we need all of them for a reason like some endangered critters eat others like annoying bugs

  13. if we want to get rid of endangered species, then how many species of animals should we get rid? there are a lot of endangered species. It is just not pratical enough
