  1. well ive never been to arizona or anything but i live in indiana, in my opinion its pretty boring. the only fun thing is chicago

  2. Too general. Look up things like schooling, crime rates, family towns, stuff like that. Might be too many farms for comfort in indiana.

  3. You need to go where you have a job.  Do you have a job in Arizona?  In Indiana?  You just can't go moving without a job or a place to live.

I typed in best place to live Arizona or Indian?  Then I clicked on best places to live Arizona was one of them Indiana was not listed as being one of the best places to live.

  4. no indiana --- its HILLBILLY HEAVEN and WHITE garbage (trash) ISLAND!!

DONT MOVE THERE!! you'll be sorry -

and so will your kids... !!!

  5. i justr drove through indiana.  it made me want to shoot myself

  6. texas is the stuff! and the biggest state. and it's awesome here. and nick jonas was born here so its pretty kool. but it gets REALLY hot. but other than that texas is the place to be!

  7. i would move to washington its a better place beside Arizona cuz its tooooo hot. Indiana not that im hatin' but to indian

  8. I absolutely love Arizona for its incredible beauty and diversity of scenery and awesome thunderstorms. I don't live there but I visit. I know that some areas a incredibly built up (but they did it beautifully). This all depends on why you want to move. There are many places in Arizona that are great to raise kids. I have never been to Indiana but I can tell you that from what I know you will be dealing with a severe culture shock. It is not as progressive as Arizona, however I do hear from friends with friends who live there that the people are incredibly kind hearted and welcoming.

The bottom line is about what jobs you can get and where you truly find your heart. In any state there is a place for children.....but there should always be a place for the mom and dad to be happy too or the kids will not be happy at all.

  9. Try checking the city, county, state and chamber of commerce websites for the cities you are interested in.

Check the websites for the newspapers in that area to see what jobs are available in your profession, and also check for companies moving to or from the area.

Check with the major job search engines like Monster.com to see what all postings they have in the areas you are interested in.

Also check what the taxes (state income tax? property taxes?) and what the property values are like in a given area... if the jobs available and the cost of living don't match up, you know there is a problem.

Chances are, you will want to be close to a major metropolitan area so you will have a better pool of jobs to draw from... more career stability.

  10. move to canada :D

  11. arizona is better because, i wouldn't want to live there. So criminals wont live there either.

  12. Indiana definitely has better weather.

  13. many irish people on east coast, they are cooler then the west coast, go to the EAST SIDEEEE.

  14. Every one has their own taste.  Just depends on yours.

I love Arizona.  Not many states where one can water ski in the warm sun on a saturday and snow ski on a sunday only a couple hours away.  Too hot in Phoenix?  Go to Flagstaff.  Too snowy in Flagstaff?  Go to Phoenix.  Best of both worlds, tough to beat.

  15. my answer, is for a huge decision like moving, don't rely on yahoo answers. move to the one you want to and if you have that great feeling in your heart, you know you've made the right decision. c'mon. have a little faith in yourself, AND your family. you can make the decision by yourself, and you don't need anyone else's biased opinion. because their situation and yours are probably different. best of luck to you and your family!

  16. Michael jackson was born in indiana, so yes move there

plus arizona SUCKSSSSSSSSSS I HATE IT

  17. I live in Illinois so I cant say a whole lot about Indiana because I dont live there but we are neighbors and have the same climate and the same flat land.  Personally, I find the midwest (its not the east coast previously mentioned)  a bit on the boring side only because it is so flat but I dont think I would survive in a state that doesnt have seasonal change.  I go absolutely nuts by the end of each season here as it is (yes even in the warm weather).  I love gardening and boating but by now in late August, I crave Fall and it look forward to change.  We also snowmobile. I love a comfortable jean season and it gives you an excuse to focus on interior home improvements and to forget about the yard when you start to get sick of it.  Depending on where in Indiana, being nice to Chicago is always nice.  The State of Wisconsin and Michigan are also nice weekend getaways.

I am now adding this just because i read a previous answer....Texas is not the biggest state....within the 48 'Yes' but it is actually Alaska.

  18. Indiana is cheap, but seems pretty insular.  Oregon would be my choice, so long as you can find a good job.  Portland is consistently ranked tops in livability.
