Should we paint our interior room while it is raining outside?

This seems like a dumb question to me but will it make it harder to dry with the humidity so high? Or are there any other ill effects of this?

  1. if it's humid it will take longer to dry, but if the rain doesn't last too long and it gets warm, the paint will dry just fine.  you need to open the windows as soon as you can to help the process and get rid of the fumes.

  2. Painting inside during the rain (high moisture content in the air) will lengthen the drying time somewhat.  The important problem is the ventilation.  If you can open the windows where you are painting, the fumes will cause no ill effects.

  3. No, it is no big deal.  Painting on a rainy day is a great idea.
