In an earlier question I posted http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AiBn6NYjgJrtZ_HU8Eoy65zsy6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20080812134822AAXjtJV I received this response from HC: "Clearly your anger/ madness clouds and/ or distorts reality. Again your allegations prove figures don't lie ; liars figure. Facts & statistics undoubtedly indicate the 'r' word isa fabricated term created by early feminists as a glorification of mere sexual misconduct. You are the 1 who continues the generalizations here when in fact your 1st four numbered statements are proven time & again. There is absolutely no reason to advance the heresay of what you 'believe happened in those cases above.. Statistics indicate that the truth is most broads, DEEP DOWN as a matter of human nature, desire to be controlled & forced by a man >>>> thus the reason so many of these occurrences of so called 'r' are never reported !!....... Furthermore, there are so many cases of unsupported claims & allegations of this overstatement that it a modern day "crying wolf".... It's clearly being made a joke of anymore..... Kindly rant your unsupported claims elsewhere......"

Here is a picture of my friend Megan's body. http://img232.imageshack.us/img232/7681/sistereverywomance8hd0.jpg Ironically, the guy who did this to her was a "friend' of ours and right before he confessed he led a group of our friends to her body, hoping they would help him figure out what to do. It was 17 years ago. He's been out of prison for years now. Megan is still dead. She died because he wanted to bust a nut.

So I'm wondering how many of you support laws like this? http://www.cnn.com/US/9608/29/castration/

I'm ready to end this c**p.

And for those of you who think I "need therapy." I've been in therapy, ever since I was 10 when my step dad molested me ( I was "lucky"). That was many years ago. I suspect I always will be. I sure hope it was great for him. I hope it brought him as much pleasure as it's brought me pain. I hope he's still coming because I'm still suffering. And my best friend Megan, well, she's still dead. I guess that's what we "broads really want."

Chop, chop, coming soon to a state near you.

  1. Lock them up for life; a lot of those guys in there love kids, many have kids of their own on the outside.  So, what happens to people like that in the joint, well the picture is not pretty.  Some child rapist, such as Jerry Turner, he raped and killed an 8 yr-old little girl named Lisa French on Halloween night, was under tight security; had he not been those guys would have killed him; literally.  I do believe Jeffrey Dahmer was killed in the joint; all because of what he did to those boys.  Now, here's the rub it's not so easy to lock them up; some get out on mere technicalities, and trust you me they would have it coming to them.

Any other way their families would have to be dealt with, and I don't think they'd be all that hip to their sons being whacked.  We have to think about the whole picture, not just our emotions; we must be wise and brave enough to acknowledge theirs as well.

  2. Naw you shouldnt castrate them, thats like saying if a woman kills a baby you should take out her v****a.

Yea people do horrible things in this world we all know it, but doing horrible things back to them wont help. Yea she wont get raped but whats stopping him from just beating the mess out of some random woman?

Also if he's locked up he'll find another way to get pleasure and if he's released he'll take it out on a woman anyway.

  3. No. I cannot stand by and support any form of capital punishment/torture, whatever else you may want to call it. As someone who has been on the receiving end of sexual abuse, I can understand the motive for such a punishment, nevertheless I could not watch it being implemented.

There would be NO boundaries whatsoever. I read The Sound and The Fury once by Faulkner which portrays a character who castrated for being mad. There is fear in the hearts of the townsfolk as to what his madness could lead to in the form of rape and therefore he is essentially emasculated.

Bottom line, I could not stand by and support such barbaric law - EVER!

  4. I believe convicted pedophiles, and convicted serial rapists, should be given a choice:  chemical castration, or the implantation of a GPS device under the skin on their back so their movements can be tracked at all times

I would support this bill, but I also believe that women who accuse innocent men should also be punished.

Hugs to you.  That was the most horrifying photo I've ever seen.

  5. We are on a very slippery slope when we start talking about castration and the death penalty for rapists.

In order for us to even consider remedies such as these, we will have to reform and rewrite rape laws.  The hodgepodge that is our rape laws cannot discern between a lying woman and a vicious monster. This has everything to do with our national hysteria over rape law. Rape accusations are now easier than ever to make and easier than ever to prove. Rape convictions can now be based on the barest assertions. Rape itself would have to be redefined. What we have done is created a system that is bad for everyone.

Then we have the interpretation of Amendments to consider.....

And we have the whole issue of how we will deal with female offenders.....

I have only addressed the legal aspect, because this would be the starting point.  As I said, it is indeed a very slippery slope.

  6. Law enforcement research over a long period of time has found that the more violent the punishment for crimes of this kind, the more likely the attackers are to kill their victims.

In their sick, perverted minds, they 'justify' this as a way of avoiding punishment for their actions.

It's also worth noting that someone may be 'castrated' but still molest, rape, torture and murder a child, and the lack of sexual 'release' as a result may even encourage them to increase the level of deviance in order to derive more 'pleasure' from their warped behaviour.

While I agree that the first reaction of any normal, decent person to a crime against a child, particularly a crime involving violence, is to want to very badly hurt the person who did it, long experience of crime and punishment by professionals and those involved in the justice system and in treating these types of offenders has shown two things: it makes it worse for other victims and it does nothing to deter people from this type of behaviour.

Obviously the murder of your friend, and your own situation is terrible and heart rending, but I can't support something that will endanger the lives of other children.

I would, however, be willing to work with anyone who wants to improve the lives of abused children, particularly boys, so that they do not grow up themselves to become abusers and misfits who perpetrate such crimes on others.

Very best wishes to you :-)

PS: AS to what that email to you said, it's just part of the anti-woman agenda sprouted here by some of the trolls. Ignore it, they're lunatics.

  7. I'm a feminist that often jokes about castrating in my answers.  You get all the knee-jerk answers to punishment for rape.  Ok, but IMO, there needs to be a further investigation as to why people rape.  There are more people with underlying psychological problems out there than ever.  Chemical castration v. physical castration.  It's going to have pros and cons on either side with emotional responses from people who are past victims and anti-feminists who say that feminists have over-exaggerrated rape stats.

The rapists themselves cannot be rehabilitated because it stems from a deep-seated issue - whatever that may be.  Vigilantism and eye for an eye is a typical response to these crimes.

But I want to know what makes a person want to rape and murder someone.  That drive to destroy and humiliate.

  8. I don't like barbaric punishments for a number of reasons.

    1.  What do you do if you find out the person is innocent?  It happens sometimes.

    2. What are we supposed to do to women who do this?  I can't think of a suitable similar punishment.

    3. I just don't like that we might be getting into what's basically torture, even if the person deserves it.

  9. I'm all for it actually.  In terms of rapists the more violent the rape the slower they should castrate you so you feel the pain.

However, I think there should be an undeniable amount of evidence. I.e. video tapes, dna, 20 witnesses (okay maybe not that many but you know what I mean). SOMETHING where there is 0 doubt EVER that this is the person who committed the crime.  I have seen enough dateline and 48 hour mysteries to know that there are sometimes where the cops (and even juries) get it wrong.

For pedophiles, okay here's my honest opinion, if someone is caught with child p**n and has never actually touched a child, try and rehabilitate them (a few some can actually be rehabilitated and I think they deserve the chance). However if you are found the second time there goes your junk.

ALSO, if they are found to have actually touched a child sexually then there should be no second chance before you lose your manhood.

  10. Personally, i think rapists should be raped.  But we take decades to humanely 'put down' murderers, so i have little faith that monsters like these will truly get what they deserve.

I do actually remember that offender in texas who had requested to be castrated.  I wonder if that's happened again in any recent cases?

I'm speechless about what happened to your friend Megan.  I am so sorry.

Oh, and Mr Gun Fanatic needs to lighten up.  Same with everyone else who is grasping at straws for reasons to oppose this question. This question isn't about women who falsely accuse, it's about a new kind of justice for actual victims.  What if that happened to them or their family? How dare they be so insensitive.

Feminist or not, you can't deny that there are monsters out there who deserve punishments that are ever bit as brutal as they are.

  11. Firstly, I'm so sorry about your past abuse, and about your friend Megan. What terrible things you went through.

Secondly, the response from HC is profoundly ignorant, and I often wonder how people with responses such as these get to (presumably) adulthood with such skewed perspectives. Pay him no mind, he is an insignificant individual with views which only reflect HIS perspective. Most people have a little more intelligence than that.

In terms of chemical castration, I feel very mixed about this.

    http://www.news.com.au/story/0,23599,239...

(Summary) -- In Queensland, Australia the premier has approved "voluntary" chemical castration for offenders as part of a treatment program.

The main issue I have with this move, is the basic premise that by diminishing ones s*x drive, one is less likely to rape.

    That's a fallacy.

Ones libido is only correlation (and not even that, sometimes) to rape. It's not causation. Attitude towards women (and children in many cases) is the causation. Change the attitude en masse, and we'll have less rape.

While Anna Bligh suggests that chemical castration is only one part of the s*x offenders' rehab, I can only hope that the rehabilitation  program makes strong emphasis on rape being this by-product (of attitudes towards women). There hasn't been a great deal of information released yet, with regards to the basic therapeutic model that will be used, and until I see a great component of it being about attitudes, I'll continue to be a little sceptical.

Other issues I have with this model, is that it can give offenders a free "get out of jail" card. The cynic in me says that more prisoners would do whatever it takes to get out of jail sooner, than they would want rehabilitation about their behaviour.

In terms of zero tolerance of rape, castration of any kind could be beneficial. Men who rape often don't have psych issues, so in the main part, I believe if consequences are steep, some men will be less likely to rape.

In terms of revenge, I can see why victims and their friends/families see this as a welcomed option. Whether or not I believe that state sanctioned punishment for such crimes is appropriate, is another discussion :-)

Don't let these b*astards (at Y!A) get you down :-)

  12. I agree with you 100%. Not only should they be castrated but also given some sort of medication to decrease their testostrone levels. They should spend their entire lives in jail. Maybe if the punishment fit the crime people would think twice before they committed it. If a man knew he was going to have his junk chopped off if her raped a woman or child he would find another way to get his rocks off.

  13. No.

You probably think it would stop them. It wouldn't.

If your therapist hasn't helped you move beyond your horrific experience, find a better therapist.

I know of no one who feels rape or murder to be what they really want. The question is how to make it rarer. If you wanted to do that, understanding the root causes, and working to reduce their occurrence would help.

This might also help your outlook on life, and help you heal.

  14. Castration= NO!

I am sure real rapist's deserve it but in the last 5 years how many innocent men have been released from prison because of false allegations of rape and malicious lie's about rape?

Rape is the number one crime where there is a 50% chance (give or take) of the so called "rapist" actually being the victim and the so called "rape victim" being the real criminal.

And I could see how this law would be applied one sided. Could you imagine a judge ordering a female rapist to be castrated? I can imagine the feminist uproar. But feminist's would chant in glee if a judge order a male to be castrated.

This is why I am a firm believer that most feminist's belong in jail for actions and crimes against humanity.

  15. Lol  did you watch hard candy or something?

  16. If you take action in self-defence that's justified but morally revenge has been proven as totally unjustifiable.

Coming back and doing something to him makes you as sick as he is but less condemnable obviously since you didn't start it.

Now as to chemical castration I think perhaps for the protection of society it is partly justifiable since in some ways its a defensive measure. I still don't wholeheartedly support it but it has far greater legitimacy than someone taking the law into their own hands

  17. As long as women who falsely accused men of rape get raped or at least have their tongue cut off as a form of punishment too.

    http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,1940...

  18. I actually agree with Master_Beta that if it is necessary to protect yourself then it is morally acceptable, but to do so strictly out of revenge is immoral.

HC is a piece of c**p human being. He reminds me of another MRA, Bob Allen, who constantly blogs about how women and little girls actually love to be raped, and will look back on it with pride, if they are ever so "lucky" to have it happen to them. He has stated that Jon Benet Ramsey "Had it comin'."

Seriously, who else would try so hard to justify rape besides rapists?

    http://bobstruth.blogspot.com/2006/09/jo...

But I also agree that while there is the slightest chance that an innocent person may be convicted, I do not think we should resort to something so "permanent." Which is the same reason I am opposed to the death penalty. Our system is not perfect, and while convictions can be overturned, there is no going back on those two options.

  19. Yes, I absolutely support chemical castration of pedophiles and convicted rapists.  But, any weirdo punitive notion of surgically castrating anyone is barbaric and morbid and perpetuates the very savagery in the social consciousness that contributes to rape.  The entire male-entitlement pardigm of some "right" to rape or that men are too weak to control themselves means to me that rather than put bags over women's heads and re-establish the "protection racket" of the "chivalry" system of women "deserve to be raped" if they do not "let" men own them and "protect" them needs to revamped and interventions including mandatory male chastity belts and chemical castration of ALL young men might instead be considered as long as men tolerate the notion that men are too weak to control themselves or that rape is their biological "nature".  If men truly believe that it is their "nature" to be so weak, then we need to control their bodies for them as a society.  I am fed up with how so many men "quibble" over what rape is, with the rape of men, women, children and infants and the male entitlement paradigm in this matter that tolerates predator behavior in the name of "masculinity".  Women vote.  We need to address this issue much more aggressively as a society and put such "masculinity" savageries in utter submission.

  20. Then we need to cut off the hand of the thief and the tongue of the man who slanders.  We would need to do brain surgery on those who are attack others out of rage.  I understand your feelings but your solution won't work. Rape is an act of angry violence not s*x.

Unfortunately, there are also people who make false allegations. In the last five years, I have known six girls who made false allegations in order to get what they want. I am as angry at them as I am the perpetrators bc it invalidates the pain you have experienced.

  21. No.

While I agree that many rapists deserve to sit in jail for the rest of their lives, castrating them would bring us to their level.

An eye for an eye makes the world blind.

  22. I agree with you on castrating pedophiles and rapists. I honestly think that rape is the worst crime on the face of the earth. The victim of a true rape, a rape under the traditional meaning and not some new age feminist definition of the word, has to live with the pain of the crime committed on them. What bothers me is the exaggeration of rapes occurring. This is the feminists cardinal sin.

Did not add to the last response:

If the 41% of false claims aren’t reduced from the 272,350 sexual assault case, which I wouldn’t be surprised if they weren’t, with the reduction, there were 160,687 cases.  In terms of an absolute context this is a lot of rapes. In terms of a relative context of society as a whole (men & women) it isn’t that many. It comes out to .0006% of being a victim of sexual assault in 2006. That is 6 in 10,000. This is for men and women. For every 6 victims, 5 were women and 1 was a man.

If it was reduced to the population of only women and account for only the sexual assaults (91%) that are committed on women this would mean there were A) 247,839 or B) 146,225 sexual assaults on women.  A) .0016 or 1 in 625 women; B).001 or 1 in 1,000 women were victims to sexual assault.

There were 92.455 forcible rape victims in 2006. For the general population, .0003% of the population was a victim or 1 in 3,333 people were a victim of forcible rape. For forcible rapes only against women by comparing them against the female population, the chance was .0006% or 1 in 1,667 chance.

At a school of 25,000 students with the national average of 57% female enrollment, the number of forcible rapes would be 9 rapes if using the total number of rapes against only women compared to the female population. If it is compared to all rapes and the general population, the same university with 25,000 students with the national average of 57% female enrollment the number of forcible rapes would be 4 forcible rapes.

To meet the feminist myth of ¼ to 1/5 of rapes on a college campus there would have to be 5,000 to 6,250 rapes a year for this hypothetical university among the overall population and 2,850 to 3,563 rapes a year for this hypothetical university by taking the population of females only.

  23. No.

    Universal Declaration of Human Rights

    Article 5.

No one shall be subjected to torture or to cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment.

  24. The article is 12 yo.  What has happened since then to advance this idea?

Im totally in favor.  Especially for pedophiles.  Better living through chemistry, I always say.

  25. I am so sorry for you and all those women. This is terrible. YES I THINK ALL PEDOPHILES AND RAPISTS SHOULD BE CASTRATED at the very least, I do not know why there is not a law about this, it should be mandatory on the very FIRST offense.

  26. Hey I'm all for it, it's great to know I'm not the only one who felt this way.

  27. I'd prefer physical castration - publicly.

  28. Castration is too good for them. They need to be "Bobbitized" and then they need to be forced to watch as their manhood and jewels are dropped down the garbage disposal and ground into mush.

  29. In the state where I live, chemical castration is given as an alternative in pre-trial negotiations and to the judge.  Surprisingly, a great deal of pedophiles opt for it.  Note that it does not mean they do not go to jail or do not have to register on the s*x offender list.

  30. This is too sad, I want to cry.  Yes I believe they should be severely punished.  If strong evidence of guilt, then torture and death.  Punishment for false charges also.
