Question:

Should we reintroduce glass beads?

Traditionally we used to exchange things for glass beads and that sort of thing. It was very nice, and much more interesting than money, because women were happy to keep the beads and did not throw them away on shoes and dresses, the way they do now with money, because they do not find money beautiful.

Should we then reintroduce the glass bead as a means of commerce, and would it help slow inflation?

  1. Good idea. It's easier to print money than make glass beads.

Can you imagine what it would be like to hand over 100 billion glass beads in exchange for a loaf of bread!

That would be a beach load of silica!

  2. are u insane?

  3. Inflation can be slowed somewhat by using the lucky red beans with the black spot, also known as mophethe, nlidza dumba or the common coral tree.  When inflation does strike, then one can always harvest more beans to use for payment!

And these beans are easier to handle. The beads tend to get lost easily because they are smaller..

  4. Maybe  -  but how many beads would i need to still be answering
