Question:

Should we relinquish control of the country to the "nobility" rather than electing them every 4 years?

Since our esteemed Republican opponents feel that power should be an exclusive right of the wealthy, to be passed down to their offspring...

And...the Democrats seem to be more interested in their "candidate" than their party...and regaining said "power"...

Why don't we just cut to the chase and switch to a Monarchy and save all of the time and expense of elections.

The Republicans can just appoint all of our leaders and we can accept our lot in life and be done with it.

  1. A monarchy might be an improvement.

Instead of electing a bunch of panderers, the Dukes and Counts could decide what was needed without having to hand out a lot of empty promised to get elected.

It would free up the billions of dollars wasted on elections.

If a monarchy is formed, I am available for the job.

  2. That is what republicans seems to be trying to do. However constitution was created by smart liberals. So, no chance that will happen

  3. Some of us believe that that has already happened, that every few years the elite put on a nice little ELECTION drama to make the riff raff believe that they live in a democratic society...that their  vote actually counts, that the US is not really an EMPIRE. George Carlin once said that this country was bought and sold a long time ago....I thought that he was off his rocker at the time, but after 7 years of the bush crime family,  it seems as though he was NOT.

  4. You can't be serious? A monarchy would be better how exactly? We basically have a monarchy now. When 1 guy tells you what to do and no one in the country bothers to punish that man for what he is done, that man has bought himself a crown. the LP has this one pegged.
