  1. motorcycles get 50-70 mpg

  2. We have to get away from our addiction to individual vehicle use. No point waiting till unsustainability forces us to a halt. Why not plan our way out?

  3. Pollute more but use allot less gas that's for sure http://nanodetonator.com That's what we need

  4. Your link doesn't work.

Do keep in mind that SUVs at 10-15 mpg need far more gas than a bike which may get 50+ mpg.    Yes bikes may produce more pollution per gallon, but they're using so much less fuel.

  5. Creating better, more cost efficient, alternative fuel and other modes of transportation would be the ideal way to deal with our consumption.  Take a big step back...wouldn't it help if we controlled population growth, planted more trees, stop cutting down the rain forest...yada, yada.  We are in it (life) so choose to conserve what we have and protect our resources or there won't be a future.

SUV's are big guzzlers of the fuel resources...so are semi trucks...if you can afford the cost of operating them and the dirty looks of your more "green" friends I say bully for you.  It is not my place to judge anyone, it is my place and duty to do my part to conserve and protect my little piece of soil (and air)...I think we all will need to examine our conscience daily as we go about our lives.  Is this good for the environment? Is a good question to ask ourselves when we jump in our car for the 6th time in a day to run a short errand.
