Thanks Carina. I guess I'm specifically wondering about kids and bags on the tube - and aggravating Londoners. I suppose on a Sunday morning it will mostly be fellow tourists and travelers and not commuters anyway.

  1. On a Sunday it'll be fine.  It is a long way with many stops, but quite a lot cheaper than the faster Heathrow Express.

If you take the tube, change at Green park for the Jubilee line & get out at Westminster.  The station is right by the Houses of Parliament & Big Ben.  Then all you have to do is cross over the river & you are there.

    Have a great stay

  2. you've got a variety of options

to check them out go to the Transport for London website at www.tfl.gov.uk and use their journey planner ... I think the routes they will give will be using the underground obviously

alternatively there's the Heathrow Express train which comes in to Paddington station so you could check the journey planner for options between Paddington and County Hall

    good luck
