  1. No, we can build salmon lifts into dams so that salmon can continue their upriver migrations even with a dam in the way. Dams are very useful as a green, renewable energy source.

  2. ok if it saves them

  3. Why, dont u like them in ur plate????

  4. It's not as simple as many people think. Fish ladders may or may not work. Fish elevators are labor- and energy-intensive. Removing a dam gives you the problem of what to do with all the silt that has accumulated behind it. There is also the problem of re-establishing a salmon run by transplanting eggs. Dams that are still in use require replacement by something to provide the benefits that the dam provided: flood control, drinking water storage, recreation, lentic fishes, or energy production.

  5. Then what we do with the empty cans ?  Can we put dolphins in them ?

  6. No. We should create spawning pools below the dams. And install steel mesh to keep out the seals.

  7. All of us have duty to protect animal , to cherish our environment!

  8. If we did that we would have to burn more coal or build nuclear plants.

  9. no we should tear down the dams to stop water pollution.  power plants are the worst enemy to our environment.  let's learn to live like we are back in the old days (no electric and very few vehicles).  or try to get the government to get companies to lower prices of solar energy.
