  1. Books don't interpret themselves.

  2. The Bible is one book that does interpret itself.  It also Interprets us and changes us, guides us and makes us differant everytime we read it.  It is my experience that it actually vibrates, is alive, like no other book I have ever read.

Try asking the Lord for his Wisdom and Discernment, before you read the Bible.  I have read an awful lot of it, but it changes the things I have read before and gives me something else to see, everytime!!

Pay attention to the little things, even the "and" and "Or's, you would be surprised at what you find when you do.

Also Go to "Strongs Concordance" on the web as you read the Bible, it changes some meanings of words when your able to read the proper interpretations.  For instance, the "Old Testement" was written Hebrew, Phonecian, and Greek, while the "New Testement" was written prodominently in Greek.

Then one day your going to be reading the Bible and all of a sudden you'll get this feeling and then a pop!!  "Ahhhhh...I get it!!!!"

  3. There is no way to accurately interpret the bible. If you mean to let the bible interpret itself, that that is the smartest thing to do. Because it will interpret itself as a folly religion that traps people into stupidity and wastes human minds.

That's what is screams out to me anyways.

  4. I believe the Bible interprets itself, but I also know this requires our studying it and knowing it.  If you use a study Bible, someone else has done much of the work for you, just make sure it is reliable.  I like Scofield, for example.

  5. You can tie up your entire life trying to untangle it, only to discover that your interpretation is different from everyone else's.

  6. There's only one reason why the majority of people would require help understanding a religious text: control

  7. When you read and study the Bible you should do your best to understand. However, the most important thing to do is to pray to the Holy Spirit to teach you. There are many concepts that only the Holy Spirit can reveal to you in a way that changes your life.
