Question:

Should we use our good ol American boycott power to stomp out sexism & nastiness from the media & newspapers?

Why have we forgotten things like the Boston tea party…?

When we don’t like something why buy it… and buy into it to keep funding it?

I’ve just been noticing lately that the media & news papers like The New York Times doesn’t really seem to care what kind of wish-wash they publish anymore, as long as they can say nasty stuff to do anything to smear people to support their own corrupt agendas.

MSNBC and the people in the media just can’t seem to keep their sexist traps shut… I’ve never seen such nasty remarks coming from annalist, journalist, & bloggers this election year, have you?

Most of all that has been rude remarks towards Sarah Palin & her children or even Hillary Clinton, what is wrong with people…?

  1. I'm already boycotting CNN and MSNBC.

  2. I say Boycott!  There is no professionalism what so ever anymore.  The editors obviously just hire who ever will spread this smear that they all agree on.  Pathetic!  I only watch Fox anyway.  OReilly calls them out almost every night on his show.  Thanks God he is the most watched!!  America would be doomed.  What the Nutcracks don't get though is that America is not mainstream.  Just them and Hollywood.  PUKE!

  3. You can use boycott power, sure. But it's not really 'good ol' American'. The word 'boycott', in this context, actually has its origins in Ireland.

But anyway...yes, boycotting networks and other agencies you don't like en masse is potentially sending a powerful message.

  4. I'm all for boycotting. Count me in.

  5. amen!

  6. I've already dumped my local newspaper overboard (bad journalism) and I have only limited cable service. I watch stuff on C-SPAN because I don't need to listen to the commentary by Marxists on broadcast stations who belong in the peanut gallery at best.

Am considering subscribing to Investor's Business Daily, however. I like unbiased information.

And I plan to leave my costume on even after we leave Boston Harbor...C'ya at Sam's public house....

  7. If you think our press is aggressive, you should take a look at the British press

If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen

  8. Wish we could, but too many people just dont care enough to do that.

  9. I believe that most of us are doing that, which is why their ratings are so much lower than FOX.  Rags like the NYTimes are all but bankrupt.  They either begin cleaning up their act or they'll have no viewers or readers left, other than a bunch of socialists and smart people outnumber them.
