Should we wait to have a baby?

My husband and I may have been together for a short time (8 months) but miracles happen and I believe our love will last a lifetime. He is 25 and I am 22 we want a baby but everyone is telling us to wait. I have faith in what we have and our ability to raise a child together. Financially, we are stable but who knows what could happen. I don't see why I should wait for what ifs... What if the world ends in 2012 like people say and I never get to have a child. I just don't see what the fuss is about and why people can't believe that we will last together. People have gotten married and started families after a couple months and lasted. Is it so hard to believe we have that bond and are capable of being parents so soon?
