  1. Probably not!

Should I bother turning up at the crows/bulldogs next sat night?

Wow! I got a thumbs down for that!

Some people are a little mean I think.

Or does THATGUY need to take the stick out of his **** and loosen up!!

    WOW! 3 thumbs down!

I think I must have upset someone oops! sorry :))

Looks like westcoast isn't a fan of your's neither Stephanie ;)

  3. **If West Coast don't want to be accused of tanking then yes, they should most definitely turn up.

While I highly doubt it'll happen, West Coast could beat Geelong, anyone can win on their given day and if Geelong had a bad day then they could lose.**

  4. I think they would lose less percentage if they forfeited.

  5. I'm not sure. What would cause the least amount of questions in here afterwards?? Don't you guys get bored with the same questions each week and then the same answers from Supporters?

We are a club with pride so of course we will be there. Duhh...........

  6. yeah i recon they should

so the cats can relay give them a belting to remember

  7. If they can forfeit they might as well save the trouble and stay home! (According to various vfl/afl books in my possession, no one has ever done this)

I dont know why anyone bothers turning up at Skilled Stadium, given the enormous home ground advantage that Geelong get from being only one of three teams to have an exclusive home ground! If I belonged to one of the other Victorian teams who had been coerced to give up my home ground (Carlton - Princes Park, Collingwood - Victoria Park, etc) then I would be ropable. I dont think any amount of financial incentive makes up for the enormous disadvantage of not having a real home ground advantage. Aside from that, I think its hypocritical that Demetriou is now suggesting that a new ground be built to cater to 20 - 25 thousand for "quieter Victorian games" after having cut so many once famous Victorian footy grounds from the mix!

  8. well... the top 8 is locked in (unless Richmond make up about 320 points on Sydney ...eg Rich win by 150 and syd lose by 170 or something.. which is near impossible!)

so the games involving 4th-8th are worth playing..

but the other 3 matches (Geel-WC, Carl-Haw & Rich-Melb) will be like exhibition matches........ SO...

I think, yes, West Coast should turn up.. just to have a run-around and a bit of fun :D

    GO SAINTS!! ^-^

  9. So they can finish the year off on a high!

  10. Yes, if they don't want a fine :)

  11. they could win in a crazy chance.... but they have to show pride and show they are hungry for the ball agaisnt any team

  12. No they shouldn't. Gelong will thump them badly by 200 pts+.

  13. If they don't they will have to go back and pick up the wooden spoon.

I think they would rather be flogged by Geelong.

  14. As an avid Eagles fan I'm going to tell you what i tell anyone that bags out the greatest team ever. this year has always been a write off. to say that the eagles are a rubbish side with no hope is plain wrong. The Eagles are rebuilding their team after some heaving player loses and poor media rep over the last couple of years. Woosha is doing a magnificent job and turning a young group of amateurs into a capable team. the last game of season 2008 and probably most of 2009 will be experience for the boys with little game time. the cats have been doing very well these last couple of years and that is beacause approximately 15 or so players have at least 100 games under their belts. so to answer your question, yes the West Coast Eagles should turn up to Geelong and show ignorant the ignorant fools just what they can do!

  15. Ge long will either win by 100+ points

Or like my friend jokingly suggested

    - they throw the game

( h**l it wont make the slightest bit of difference to them now will it)

so that West Coast finish with 5 wins and lose out on the draft picks

Don't let Charliee see this question.......

  16. There are fourteen out of fifteen sides within the afl that cant beat geelong (the crows, they smashed them earlier this season, and obviously themselves) - so why do you single out the eagles when they are an unstoppable force that teams like hawthorn, kangaroos, adelaide, bulldogs etc. can not beat?

Oh and west coast are rebuilding, this season they have been missing about all of their MAIN key players due to horrid injury, all senior players are out except Dean Cox, Darren Glass (captain), Quinten Lynch, Ashley Hansen (just came back from injury), Adam Selwood, Andrew Embley, Mark Seaby and just a couple more (Stenglien, Braun, Priddis) . That is not many senior players is it?

  17. Well yea, i mean they have had sum good games this year.

  18. Should any side turn up to play Geelong?

  19. i think they should turn up..

but should just stand there and not do anything

i rekon it would confuse a few people haha

  20. I think the odds of geelong winning by 100+ points should be about $1.01
