Should women be allowed to scream so loud?

It sure seems women scream louder than men.

Why are their voices so loud?

i like screaming in bed, but i cant stand those girls who feel the need to scream on the street!

im not sure about america, but in london we have these girls who hang out in groups with guys and for some very irritating and annoying reason, feel the need to scream everytime a guy touches her in a playful, flirty manner!

well guys just ignore them at times so they express there feelings. Guys they don' t scream loud cause they have a deep voice  and well women are more emotional.

I think women seem louder because generally we have higher voices, and higher sounds seem louder than lower ones.

Have you ever been around a group of women?  Every single one of them love to talk and they all try to talk at the same time.  The one with the loudest voice is the one that is heard.  From a very young age, women's voices are developing so that they can be the one in the group that is always heard.

women just have higher pitches of voice than men. it's something about the vocal chords in them... men can talk really low, and if i talk that low, well i can't because my vocal chords can't go that low.

Generally, women have higher pitched voices than men because they have shorter and lighter vocal cords. Both girls' and boys' larynxes grow during puberty. In males, however, the larynx grows much larger which gives them deeper voices. The pitch of the voice depends on the frequency of vibration of the vocal cords, and this frequency of vibration depends on the length and tension of the cords.

While women's voices do have a characteristically higher pitch than men's, this can vary to a certain extent. Our vocal chords and larynx, along with the mouth and lips, form a long tube similar to that of a wind instrument in which the length of the tube affects the pitch of the sound produced. A set of muscles makes the opening of the vocal cords expand and contract to let air pass through and make the cords vibrate. The size of this opening changes the pitch of the sound.

Ha - well, we don't, actually, our voices are just higher-pitched and more annoying when we raise them.  Men, on the other hand have deeper voices that, when raised, can vibrate the windows in the next county over.  I think women are more likely to scream than men, though, because we have to let the anger out and we don't usually do it physically.
