  1. I think it is up to her. I think for a lot of women, it isn't really a choice, but for some it might be. Then there are some women who NEED to keep themselves busy or intellectually challanged and being a housewife just doesn't do it for them.

After having kids, I think it is important for either the father or mother to work less in order to raise the kids, even if that means totally quitting or working a part time job, but then that should be up to the couple. I work full time and my husband works part time and looks after our kids more. The reason for this is that his job (that is very important to him) is more flexible but makes less money and my job makes more money, so we can make ends meet that way.

  2. Yes.. y would you not.. you cant expect someone to wait on you hand and foot and bring home all the bacon

  3. yes....even after she had children....

  4. Yes,of course.....why not???? they shld hv some "SELF RESPECT"......

  5. Of course they should... why should they not?  Unless their husbands are very successful and they don't need to work.  Put, for the most part, it takes two incomes to run a family these days.

  6. women should always work after marriage, too many women get married and depend on a husband, only to be sorry later on in case the marriage doesn't work out for any reason.

  7. It depends on how much your future husband earns and on other situations.

    good luck

  8. no da chellam athuyallam marriad ku apparam kudathu

  9. She need money to eat and other necessities after marriage so she should work after marriage

  10. yessssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss...

just because a woman gets married, that does not mean that she is only a wife,

she is still a woman, a daughter, a sister, a member of society, a free thinker, an ablebodied American.

  11. Of course, you should be able to make your own choice, if your in a comfortable financial situation and are able not to work and don't want to then thats fine but just because you're married it doesn't mean you should stop working.  More and more women work now.

  12. why not?

  13. of course, wives who don't work after married are like a hundred years old...because a long time ago, it was established and declared that wives should work, take the desperate house wives show...

  14. Yes, if you want to have any independence, you should. To depend on any man would be the biggest mistake of your life,. I am speaking for experience. I was a stay at home wife and mother for 28 years, he didn't want me to work. All of a sudden one day, he decided he wanted a divorce. I had no educations pass  a diploma and no way to get a job. I had to start over with my life...and I did! But is is hard,. Always keep your independence, that way if something happens you can always take care of yourself.

  15. yes, they should try to work after marriage. Without any job, she will get boring doing household works. atleast some financial problems in the home willl be omitted. You should try to console your husband that how much you owes him.Care should be taken for your husband and children.

  16. women is plural, woman is singular just so you know next time. No S is needed.

  17. well given a chance , id love to be a home maker . but its more diffcult to manage a home tats y elders suggest to take a break from work to cater to needs of the elders and children . its not a sacrifice .

    it depends on each individual.

but on the other hand work gives u a sense of financial independence, self dignity, social awareness

  18. I Don't See Why Not....... Marriage Is Not About Control, Its About Equality. If You Want To Do Something Feasible No One Has The Right To Tell You Otherwise. Go Ahead And Work If You Want To. A Little Extra Money In your Pocket and The Home Never Hurts. But Dont Neglect Your Duties and Needs To Your Family, Your Partner or Yourself

  19. is there any problem in that if she likes then she can work after marraige even after having children...
