i know it's very helpful for the owner of the car because they had a clearer vision during the night. but didn't they know that those white lights caused the obstruction to the other cars' drivers and blinded the views by it? i almost hit the other car and the side of the road because of it.

  1. I think it should be a regulation that headlights should only be a certain height off the ground. Something around 2ft is my suggestion. This way, no matter how bright they are, if they're aligned properly they won't be an issue.

  2. xenon arent bright, try HID

i can have my HID in high beam if some ones horn me behind my back, i let them pass me over and put on high beam hid

  3. Yes thay should and I agree with your complaint.

Federal safety regulators are concerned, as well. In fact, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) is about to start a process that paves the way for the biggest change in headlight regulations since they were established in 1968.

The agency also will look at glare from high-mounted truck and van headlights, and from auxiliary fog and driving lights.

  4. No they should allow us to tint our front windshield by a little so that its safer..... its an evolution of lighting once it gets better and we can project the light to only certain areas there wont be many complaints... but i understand i have a lowered car and every light is blinding trucks are the worst....

  5. I don't think the type of lightbulb makes a difference as far as blinding oncoming drivers is concerned. The problem occurs when drivers replace their bulbs or jack up their suspensions without realigning their headlights properly. If they're aimed off-center or too high up, that's when they blind others.
