Should you brush your teeth with warm/hot water?

Well it stands that hot water cleans things better than cold water. Dishes, clothes, etc. So would it benefit to use the warmest water you can stand when you brush your teeth? Just curious.

  1. No. The **** in hot water tanks is bad to put in your mouth or to swallow

  3. First I use hot water to get all of the stuff stuck in my teeth. Then I use the cold water to brush my teeth wit toothpaste.

  4. I wouldn't say hot water, but maybe luke warm. I heard that if you brush with cold water you do damage to your teeth and you will get a splotchy appearance.

  5. well i don't think it matters but hot water kills germs and stuff so that might be better.

  8. i think warm water kills more germs.   thats how they say to wash your hands.

  9. Warm water kills more germs than cold water. i dont know if you learned that boiling water kills bacteria. same thing with your mouth. warm water may feel weirder to put in your mouth but it really does work better than using cold water.
