  2. Forgive, and never forget. Do not hold their mistake over their heads, but realize that it is a possibility that history could repeat itself.

  3. Yes forgive them and move on. After so many mistakes I give up on someone.

    I never forget tho.

    Sounds like the person wants it both ways -- they want to be forgiven, but don't want to exercise the humility and fortitutde to ask for it.

  6. I don't know about that.  For me, in order to forgive someone, I want validation from them.  With that validation comes their acknowledgment that they've done something wrong.  If they're admitting a wrongful act, they should just ask to be forgiven.

  7. Yes.  I think it's very humble to think you're beyond forgiveness.  It's an ultimate act of kindness to forgive them.
