  1. neither. kittens are supposed

    to have their mothers milk.

and if it doesnt have its mother

its okay to let them drink water.

  2. Neither. Many cats are lactose intolerant, and I don't think they'd ever find soy in the wild so that might not be a good option either. If the kitten is still to young to be fully on solid food and wasn't weaned properly from his mother, you can use cat milk suppliments like KMR or Just Born - try PetSmart. Otherwise, your kitten will probably get its best nutrition from canned kitten food, which most brands of cat food make. My kittens also like eating dry kitten food. Hope this helps.

  3. Kitten's milk, like Raven said.

  4. no milk. its not good for them.

unless they were taken from their mother too early i think your supposed to give them soy milk

  5. actually cats are lactose intolerant, and soy is really bad for them as well, if you want to give her milk, give her KMR kitten milk replacement or goats milk, you can find this in the baking section by the evaporated milk,

  6. Kitten Milk from a pet store or vet if it is very young for solid foods.

If you really want to give it milk if it is older, try only a little and see how she/he reacts.

My 20 year old eats ice cream and drinks milk with no ill effect. It depends on the cat.

  7. Ask your vet. One of my cats is too skinny and so in order to help him gain weight, we were instructed to give him whole milk (from cows). However, my other cat is lactose intolerant, so we have to be very careful to make sure he does not drink any milk or he will get sick. As for soy milk, I doubt your kitten would be interested in drinking that, because it doesn't smell or taste like real milk. But as always, you should ask your vet before introducing any new food or drink to your pets.

  8. preferbaly no milk, as cats are lactose intolerant. Try and give them kitten milk from the shops, but the best things for kittens is water. Giving them cows milk or soy milk will give them diahorria and it does not provide them with the same nutrients they need to grow.

if you really want to give them calcium, try small bite size cheese pieces. in a small dose, these can be a great healthy treat for them, it can also help give them more of an appetite.

  9. Regular milk.

  10. DO NOT FEED YOUR CAT PASTEURIZED OR SOY MILK.  There is no reason for it, and cat's stomachs CANNOT digest it, and it can cause a cat to suffer unneedlessly.  Adult cats do not require milk, or dairy products for health maintenance, and it is NOT a treat - you are giving you cat something that can make him ill enough to go to the vet.  Kittens that have been weaned from their mother do longer need "milk" from her....or you.  Now, if the kittens do not have access to their mother and have not been weaned, that is another story.  Then you need to go to the pet store and by specially formulated kitten formula.  DO NOT GIVE YOUR CAT MILK OR MILK PRODUCTS,

  11. For a cat, regular milk, not soy.  However, some cats have lactose intolerance and may get diarrhea after drinking cow milk.  I buy CatSip milk for my cats (About $1 to $1.20 for a small carton of milk that lasts several days in the fridge) and they love it.  You can usually find it in the grocery store in the cat food isle.

For a kitten, there are special formulas that you could get from pet store or from your vet.  I do not think CatSip is intended as a substitute for cat's mother milk.

  12. Cats don't need milk once they are weaned. Cows milk just gives them diarrhea. Cows milk is for calves who are HERBIVORES! Cats are carnivores. Humans are omnivores, some of us can handle cows milk, but most of the world's population actually can't!

If the kitten was weaned too young, take it to the vet and you can get special kitten milk. Some pet stores have kitten milk too. Seriously don't give a cat soy milk, cats are carnivores and this could make them sick! Do you want you kitten barfing or pooping everywhere? Just go to a pet store and get a good kitten food and kitten milk if the cat needs it.

  13. i would buy the supplement that they have at any pet section in the store.

  14. Neither. Give it kitten milk, if it is very young, found fairly cheap in either powder or liquid form. It is a substitute for mothers milk and will be better than cows milk OR soy if you feel you must. Regular milk IS acceptable rarely as a treat but it does cause the runs.

  15. I know cats are allergic to milk after a certain age, so the best thing you can do is call a vet and get an idea from them what would be best.

  16. Neither. They will not provide the nutrition the kitten needs and will probably cause digestive upsets. How old is the kitten? If the kitten requires bottle feeding, buy KMR (kitten milk replacer) formula from a pet supply store. Have someone who is experienced in bottle feeding kittens show you how to do it. If the kitten is eating on his/her own, you can mix KMR with canned kitten food to make a palatable, nutritious "mush". If the kitten is 6 weeks of age or older, canned kitten food should be all the kitten needs (along with a dish of fresh water).

  17. Lippazanner gave the best answer.

Mother's milk is best.  If that is not available, then give either KMR (kitten milk replacement) OR goat's milk.  Goats are the universal donor when it comes to milk.  Any animal that normally drinks milk can digest goats milk.

    : )

  18. Cats are pure carnivores. They eat meat and animal protein. Soy milk is a vegetable product and is not digested properly by cats.

  19. goat milk or kitten milk are found to be the very best for kittens. cow milk will give them diarrea.
