Should you hang a picture behind a door?

Our bathroom door is normally open ... unless the bathroom is in use. I want to hang pictures along the same wall that the door opens against. Should I still center the pictures on the entire wall or should I center the pictures from the open door over?

I also use a center point of a wall and radiate from there when using multiple pictures. I feel that a door such as a bathroom door does not interfere with a composition, especially when the door is closed and the bathroom is occupied.
