  1. It's a good way to let your bird get used to its new home by letting it fly around and investigate. However just make sure your home is "bird proof" before letting it out to fly. It needs to understand the dangers of windows and no fans, hot stoves, etc should be on. It's best to flight train your bird so that it flies around safely in your home.

  3. As long as the room is 100% safe I think it's fine.Oh yeah and make sure you can put the budgie back in it's cage.

  4. hi!! only if you have a closed bird room, too many get out and die, its best for any parrot or parakeet to fly. and dont for get to give him many different fruits and veggies. i adore mt quaker and green cheeks!!

  5. No.

You need to give your parakeet proper time to adjust to it's new surroundings. There is a chance that it will get hurt when it doesn't know where it is at.
