  1. yes but not with all the ballons and stuff go somewere seren like a teaplace  and through it there but only invite like eight people not alot

  2. I don't know if I would want to have a surprise party.  Why not plan the party and talk to the person who's going in for surgery.  Tell them you want to have a party now because when they finish with the surgery, it's probably going to be a while before they feel up to having a party.  If they seem really upset by the idea, then don't do it, but let them know it's going to be casual and light.  Make sure your guests know to.  I think the key would be to make sure that everyone understands that it's not a "good bye," but a chance to get together while the person still feels like it.  (There's a big difference between wishing luck and giving a eulogy.)

  3. depends if the person might die yes you should but only if you think they would like it

if they are going to be fine, you should just make a nice card and have everyone sign it

because i surprise party might make them think its a big deal and make them scared about it

  4. it might not be a good idea because it might make it look like they wouldn't make it. why not have a pray group over have those same people you were going to invite to come and just wish that person a successful surgery and you guys could properly have drinks and sandwiches along with snack . good luck.
