Should you tell a family member what you really think??

Question

If your brother was fixing to marry a gold digger, party girl who uses him, would you tell him.

I have tried to tell him by asking him questions like? DO you think she uses you for money, but he denies it and makes excuses for her.

But the situations make it VERY OBVIOUS!!!!

SHould i tell him exactly what I think, because if I do it may make him recent me. Because he truely loves her.

He is not going to listen to anyone at this point, unfortunately. IMO, you are right in saying that he will resent you if you tell him what you think.

How long before they get married?

If it's awhile from now, there's a good chance he will wake up and smell the coffee, especially with his sis there to help point things out (w/o being TOO obvious).

If it's soon, he's gonna have to learn the hard way.  

No matter what, just let him know u are there for him.  He'll be ok!

Nothing will change his mind other than experiencing it first hand. Too bad for him.

It is best not to say anything. If you do you will just cause him to defend her more and want to protect her. You will also destroy the relationship you have with him. I doubt you would want anyone downing the person you love. He will have to learn for himself. Let it go because he wont ever appreciate what you have to say. It will drive them even closer together and he may cut you out of his life. We all have to make our own mistakes.

Got into a spat with my brother, we argued over a little issue which he made big and ends up disowning me. Partly because of the girl he married. I spoke the truth, he couldn't handle it and decided that it was best that I wasn't in his life anymore. Sad, but it is his loss. I hope he'll see the light and realize what he has done. If you are the type to tell people what you really feel then go ahead and do it. Be yourself, they either take it or leave it.

i would tell him what i think. its better for him to know than regretting later on for marrying a gold digger
