Should you tip the person who installs your car stereo?

We just got a new car stereo and had it installed today. It came with free installation if that matters. When the guy was finished installing it I nudged my hubby and told him he should tip the guy but he didn't. When we left he told me that he has never tipped a person for installing his stereo and he has never heard of it. What do you guys think? Do you tip or no?

That person was providing a service for you.  You should have tipped him.

it there job to install the radio thats what they get paid for. If they didnt charge u then u should be happy.......

waitresses, waiters, and sky caps etc.... get paid like $2.50 an hour so they depend on tips but the guy installing your radio gets at least $12 an hour

here in good old Detroit they don't even get minimum wage

d**n, looking at the state of my states economy i need to move out there, even with the higher cost of living it sounds a lot better
