Should you trust someone you don't know?

Should you somewhat trust someone that you don't know, even if your freind or freinds dont? Lets say you have think he is ok but your Friend says he messed him over and he is no good and you shouldn't trust him. What do you do?

Don't trust anyone you don't know.

So get to know the person, but then decide for yourself.

Trust him with a very small thing, see how he handles it.  If he does something to violate your trust, your question has been answered........Don't trust him.

If he's trustworthy with a little, give him a little more.

Trust is both given and earned, give him the opportunity to earn your trust, just not the whole package at once.

In my experience, just because someone does something to you doesn't necessarily mean they will do it to me. Get to know this person with an unbias mind and give him a chance. But take it slow, some people do repeat bad habits.
