  1. I wouldn't recommend it. Some people might have sensitivities to some of the cleaning agents. Usually when chemicals are introduced into the pool it takes 30-45 minutes before the concentration of the chemicals is blended around the pool and reached a level where it may not harm someone with said sensitive reaction.

  2. Generally, no.

It should tell you on the container.

  3. No you should let  it mix at least 30 min.

  4. no b/c that could get someone sick or cause ppl to have infections, dont do something that ur not sure of, u should call the pool service and ask them they should know

  5. The chemicals usually tell you how long to wait for allowing people to swim.

Shock for instance says to wait 15 minutes  - but some alge killers want you to wait a bit longer.

  6. Not really, I think its only ok to swim with the chems at certain levels. And clorine is different to salt. Check with pool shop. Although tend to think this is the type of question that you will get a multipul of different answers for.

  7. It depends on which chemicals you are adding. Would you dump the same chemical into the bath tub while you were soaking?

Once when our team was finishing up a workout when the head guard starting dumping in soda ash. I swam into the wall and everything went white. It didn't hurt me, but the sudden color change made me think I was going blind!
