Shoulden we take care of the People in the United States First ?

I think we should take care of the People in the United States First & then help the people around the world. What do you think ? Yes or No or do both?

We can do both things at the same time, and I think it's important that we do.

Just as important, the US should STOP inflicting  such enormous harm on people around the world.  Our invasions have resulted in the deaths of over 2 million Asians and 660,000 Arabs (and millions of permanent injuries) from Viet Nam on.  WHAT do you think peoples' dislike of  the US stems from? Polls have shown that 70-80% people internationally feel that the greatest threat to world peace is NOT terrorism but THE UNITED STATES! [Small wonder, given that we were so quick to bomb innocent Iraq!]

Just think--if we had used the $100s billions we've spent in Iraq on food to help the poor around the world (including our own), instead of bombing and killing people and creating more injuries, don't you think the world would look more kindly on  the US?  I certainly would if I were a foreigner.

Contrary to what most people think, the US is NOT that generous to countries in need.  Considering the size of our population, man per man our donations are less generous than the Europeans' donations.
