Shoulder pads for football?

if you didnt know what postion you would play, but you thought, but not for sure, you would be a qb wr and a s what shoulder pads would you get???

  1. Safety is the main issue.

    The pads have to cover the outside point of your shoulder and should go down to cover your sternum.

    They make pads for QBs that are the same size, but less bulky at the top to allow the elbow to press over the shoulder.

    If your primary position is S, then you wouldn't want QB pads.

    Your coaches will fit you with proper pads.

  3. your team always gives them to you. and i don't think you will be playing qb if you are asking this question.

  4. Coaches hand them out to you but size wise, a QB needs space there for he gets very slim and small shoulder padding the same thing with wide receivers they need more space for more movement but if you play on defence i recommend bigger padding to cusion harder impacting tackles..
