Shoulder surgery question??

Question

I may be going for rotator cuff impingement surgery and i wanna know if its successful or if its worth going. Will my shoulder be better or worse after the surgery?

There are no guarantees in medicine. The best person to know is your surgeon.  S/he should have a reasonable idea of what the surgery can and cannot accomplish.

If the surgery was going to make your shoulder worse, though, it wouldn't be recommended by your doctor.  A lot of your recovery may depend on rehab post-op.

it is worth having the surgery however from experience your shoulder will never be like it was before.
