Shouldi put holes in roof of hermit crab cage?

i have a big plastic container i was gonna put my hermie in shouldi put holes on top or no?

the cage i had for my hermit crab,wisteria,hade mesh wire around it so she could breathand climb,but couldn't get out,and 3 holes on the plastic lid on top.so yes i think that would be a good idea.

they have hermit crab cages. get on of those and your hermie will be just as happy, the come with slits for air or you can put holes , he can't climb out, mine loves his cage
