Shouldn't Canadians be allowed to polute the environment more?

They need to burn more fossil fuels per capita to keep warm and have greater distances to travel, need to remove more snow from their roads and need to repair them more often due to the colder weather. Shouldn't the cold Canadian winters mean we need to burn more fossil fuels than our southern neighbours per capita? Isn't freezing worst than being too warm? If you are too warm you can always open a window. You can't open a window if you are too cold.

What are you talking about? No one should be "allowed" to polute more than anyone else. Are you advocating that Canadians would prefer global warming? Do YOU even know what you are talking about?

Do you know for sure that you don't? Per capita, you might. Considering there are more people in California than in all of Canada, at least you don't pack the same wallop as the US.

add on: we need the A/C here in Florida. And, in southern California, people practically spend their lives in their cars.
