i did really bad in 8th grade like i have a 2.1 gpa. this year my first quarter grade gpa was a 4.0. my second quarter grade was a 3.6. it's annoying that my parents tell me i could do better b/c my 2nd gpa wasn't as good as the 1st. i think i'm doing the best as i can. shouldn't they just be glad that my grade was better than last year.

  1. Yea they are proud of you but they just want you to do better

  2. See they always knew you could get those 4.0's and now they want more of those!!!

They just want what is best for you and 4.0's are what will make it so you can do what ever you wish with your life.

  3. Even though they may not show it, they are always proud of you. Don't feel bad or anything. Just keep on trying. If you just quit, would that get you anywhere? No. It would get you on the road to nowhere. Just keep on trying and do your best. You will need it, esp. in your high school years to come.

  4. .

  5. yes they should be happy.  Sometimes parents forget what school is like, and they just don't understand how difficult it can sometimes be.

  6. Communication is ALWAYS the key to any problem. Ask them to sit and talk with you about it. Ask them when a good time for them is...you want them in a good frame of mind.
