I could understand if I was a crusty and smelly homeless guy in ridiculously worn clothes, and I was having a hard ime finding a job. But shouldn't an average to good looking, normal, and articulate person be able to find a job really easily? I look and I look and I look and nothing ever turns out well, so far something has always gone wrong and I've found myself once again unemployed. Don't you think normal people should be able to get jobs whenever they want?

  1. your an idiot.

perhaps its your stuck up conceited attitude showing through that is turning potential employers off.

or maybe its the horrible economy the united states has at this moment.

but hey, mcdonalds is always hiring lol.

  2. jobs are getting tight ... can you spell ..RECESSION.   A lot of people are in the same boat as you .

  3. I feel your pain. I lost my job due to company cut backs. and its been hard as heck to find a new one.

  4. That's probably how they become homeless, cause they couldn't find a job yecon??

They weren't like that there whole life. I mean each one of them came from somewhere didn't they?

It's gettin bad out there, we might all loose our homes n be like them soon.

  5. Maybe you're not as articulate as you think you are!  I hear you, though.  It's not easy to find a good job.  As companies cut retirement benefits, older people are staying in the workplace longer, so there are fewer openings than ever for the younger people.  Which, there are fewer younger people than before, but if you factor in outsourcing and illegals getting hired (sorry, I feel for people from anywhere trying to better their lives, but it's a fact of life that their numbers are increasing, and that people do hire them) that means there are fewer and fewer jobs for "normal people" to find.  Good luck.

  6. Maybe you need to step it up in interviews. Other than that, you need some connections. The number one way people get jobs is through someone that is close to them. Talk to friends and family members and see whats available.

  7. the term normal is a bit offensive but no. I think that everybody should have an equal chance of employment.. and being homeless should give you more right because they need the money to live. They on the streets! Show some compassion. Maybe it's just that where you live, the need employees isn't big enough. Or the town is overpopulated.

  8. i have no idea how looks have anything to do with job-seeking unless you want to be a model.

Remember economy is going bad.  Many are unemployed atm.

  9. The key to finding a job is to be in the right place at the right time.

Job hunting often requires the " spaghetti against the wall " approach.

put enough resumes out and sooner or later one will stick.

I went through this, 4 months and nothing, then 5 offers in one day.

  10. yes if there out there jobs are very hard 2 find when the unemployment rate is so high
