I seen this event late last night on USA network and I found it to be very entertaining. I felt like they weren't walking at all. It looked to me like they were running slow yet it seemed fast too.

  1. I agree! LOL I'm always telling the students not to run in the hallways! Instead I tell them to walk fast! =0)

  2. It's walking because you always have to have one foot in contact with the ground, like when you walk normally. When you run there is a moment where both feet are OFF the ground.

  3. One foot has to be on the ground at all times - not like running where often both feet have left the ground.

  4. I think it's called walking because if you clock under a certain speed it's still walking but i know if they go over it's considered running and they usually get disqualified
